SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Eligibility
Open to graduating seniors with a Liberty Lake zip code (99019,) or related to a current member of the Liberty Lake Kiwanis Club, or from the following Spokane County School Districts: East Valley, Central Valley, West Valley High Schools or a community member that is deemed worthy by the scholarship committee.
At least (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to students that are graduating from High School and at least (1) scholarship will be awarded to those that are continuing their academic or vocational education who have received a Liberty Lake Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship must be used to pursue the applicant’s academic or vocational education in the next academic year.
Application Requirements for both high school and reapplying recipients
1. Application form must be typed.
2. Current official school or university transcript.
3. At least two (2) up to date confidential recommendations from persons
other than relatives; at least one must be from a teacher, faculty member, or a
graduate assistant at the student’s school or university.
4. If selected for a scholarship, you must attend a fundraiser on Saturday,
June 1, 2013, 12:30-1:30PM at Meadowwood Golf Course (free lunch).

• Financial Need
• First generation college student
• Grade Point
• Leadership
• School Activities
• Work History
The application and accompanying documents must be signed and received by March 31, 2013. All areas of the application must be completed. Unsigned and late applications will not be accepted.
