K-Kids Rock On!

Stuffing
Eggs
for
Easter

The Liberty Lake Elementary K-Kids Club has grown to 33 members, consisting of 3rd, 4th and 6th graders! Pat Lutzenberger, one of our Kiwanis sponsors for this program, provided the following report.

At the March 1 meeting the kids sorted Easter eggs for the Liberty Lake Easter Egg Hunt, and were given K-Kids t-shirts. On March 19th the K-Kids sold pancake feed tickets during the Easter Egg Hunt drop off and registration at the LLSWB. Thanks to Linda and Valerie for helping out with this event. Also, thanks to all who worked with K-Kids on March 22nd and 24th at the Easter egg drop off and registration. About 30 kids and 20 parents helped stuff eggs on March 24th.

K-Kids sold over $400 worth of tickets for the 4th annual pancake feed, with Matt Busch coming in as the top seller of tickets at over $100 in total sales!! K-Kids and their parents tuned out in big numbers for this event. K-Kids also helped out at the egg hunt by distributing eggs, escorting hunters to designated areas, and helping in the clean up. Way to go, K-Kids!!

On April 12th the K-Kids will be making posters for the penny drive to benefit the Guild School. They will also be organizing the 2nd annual Liberty Lake elementary Staff Appreciation Breakfast scheduled for Friday, April 15th. By the way, Kiwanis members, the K-Kids are asking for our help with food and preparations. Finally, the K-kids will be planting trees and flowers for the city at Trailhead Golf Course on April 26th and May 10th. Let's hear it for Pat, Linda and the Liberty Lake Elementary K-Kids!
