February jumped off to a fast start for Liberty Lake Kiwanis this year! At our first meeting of the month, our club was blessed with the addition of eight new members. We enjoyed the opportunity to recognize these newest members of our club, and to hear from each of them as they shared their reasons for becoming Kiwanis members.
Our entire meeting was dedicated to celebrating the addition of our new members, and our club was graced with the presence of members from surrounding clubs who came in support of our new members. In addition, we all enjoyed hot breakfast burritos graciously prepared by members Mike and Pat Lutzenberger, Patrick and Linda Dockrey, and Pat Plaster.
If this new class of Kiwanis members is an indication of the type of members who will be joining our club throughout the year, we are in for a great year indeed. They are a talented, highly committed, hard working and fun loving group of people! Our new members include Bob Covington, Josh Johnson, John Korondy, Valerie Marshall and Jack Smith, Mike and Janet Rineer, and Joyce Rudeen. Welcome to the Kiwanis family one and all.
